Sriracha Salad Dressing

Hello HTS Community

I just want to say, that I love salads. I can eat different types of salads all days of the week, sometimes spicy, sometimes tangy. There are a lot of salad dressings that you can try with the ingredients at hand. A lot of times, a single available fruit can turn your salad from dull to wow.

This Sriracha dressing is one of my favorites and gives a nice kick to the salad. Sriracha is a type of hot sauce made with chilli peppers, garlic, vinegar, salt and sugar. it is a common condiment in Asian cuisine and is often served as a dipping sauce. You can make this salad dressing in advance and refrigerate for up to 3 weeks.

For any salad dressing, you need an oil and something sour, vinegar or lemon juice. I like lemon, but you can’t store the dressing made with it, as it looses its taste. So if you are looking to store a batch, use a vinegar. Oil and vinegar are used in 2:1 ratio, that is, 2 parts oil and 1 part vinegar. This completes your base for the dressing, and now you add anything to give it your own twist. You can use freshly squeezed orange juice or crushed strawberries, or mangoes to make a fruity salad dressing.
